Plant Based Protein (Tone It Up)

Plant-based doesn’t mean that I have to give up on chocolate does it!?!  Yes, I am one of those females that LOVES chocolate. And I’ll admit, it does make me feel better. But you know what’s even better- GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE PROTEIN!!

First of all I love Karena and Katrina. I’ve been following then for over 5 years now and I’ve joined them to get my body back into shape. These ladies are not only inspiring fitness professionals but they are my neighbors. I recently left Venice Beach and decided to go a little bit further south. What’s incredible about Playa Del Rey, El Segundo and Manhattan Beach are that there are so many health-conscious entrepreneurs who are pioneers in what we consume and how that makes us feel.

THIS IS NOT AN AD. I am always on the go, whether at a photoshoot or getting on a flight to another destination to work remotely. Having protein in my day that’s quick and tasty is key. I recently started using ToneItUp chocolate protein and I love it.

I recently had a weight-loss plateau and a big part of that was because I wasn’t consuming enough calories and when I would go out I would double my calorie intake. The easiest and quickest solution for me was to incorporate a protein shake every day. Usually earlier in the day before I work out and in between phone calls.

When I make my shakes I add either green superfoods or if I’m at home I’ll mix kale and berries to my shakes in a magic bullet.
